We are searching for a team member with a Norwegian law degree who will join our in-house legal team in Visma. We are an international legal team that works closely together with all Visma group companies across Europe on legal matters related to technology and software.

We are looking for you with relevant prior work experience, preferably within data protection, technology related law, software and IT contracts. You should have great interest in technology, find value in being solution oriented and enjoy the commercial aspect of legal matters.

The main areas of responsibilities will be to:

• Assist Visma companies in matters related to protection of data, hereunder with regards to European privacy and security legislation

• Assist Visma companies in making use of data according to a variety of legislations, herunder the GDPR, cookie and tracking legislation, legislation governing development of software and marketing laws within Europe

• Help manage security and privacy incidents

• Provide legal advice within other legal matters surrounding technology

• Participate in developing a modern dynamic software compliance team

• Negotiate and draft corporate agreements with customers in private and public sector, subcontractors and partners, and draft terms of services and other standard agreements for software sales

• Assist in M&A activities, including DD related work

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Norwegian law masters degree.

• Has relevant work experience (1-3 years), preferably within data protection/privacy related matters

• Has excellent communication skills both written and oral, and fluency in Norwegian and English

• Enjoys working with people with different roles and from different backgrounds

• Is structured, hands-on, pragmatic and solution oriented
